Countertop Production
Carolina Surfaces offers it's customers & clients a wide variety of countertop designs, colors, and core stocks to choose from. Commercial and Residential tops can be fabircated from one of our many solid surface suppliers like Corian, Himac, and Wilsonart or choose one the popular quartz products from Silverstone and Zodiac. We can also provide our granite customers a full range of colors from daltilestone.
From straight run & raidus tops to more complex angles our computer controlled template digitizer can template almost any design needed. Once templates are complete the counter top designs are downloaded to our state of the art CNC cutting machine.
Tops are then cut to design specifications. Top pieces and edge buildups are bonded together and profiles are routed in to the desired edge style. Sink cut outs are also rounted in place and all tops are sanded to the required sheen or finish.
High pressure laminate tops can be machined with PVC 3mm to .5mm bandings, HPL bandings, or solid wood using our edgebanding machine.
